Blessed to be a Blessing!
99 Years of Service
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10
For the glory of God, we are partners with Christ through the power of the gospel, to fulfill His purpose of transforming lives through discipleship, ministry, evangelism, fellowship and worship.
Guided by Faith
Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession of our faith having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, we do now, in the presence of God, angels and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.
"You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ." Romans 8:9
Services
Are you searching for a place to worship where you can feel at home? Look no further! Our church offers a dynamic and inclusive environment where you can deepen your relationship with God.
What makes us different?
We engage to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember one another in prayer; to aid one another in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and Christian courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the rules of our Savior to secure it without delay.
"Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ." I Corinthians 12:12
Mission Statement
We, the members of Morning Star Baptist Church, seek to provide meaningful worship services as a vital part of the church. Through our church activities and in our lives we shall reach out and seek to bring others to Christ. We expect to grow through the study of the Bible, through prayer, and through participation in activities of service and fellowship. We shall be caring and concerned for each other, providing support and understanding in times of sadness and of joy. To support the mission of our church, we shall give willingly of both our finances and our talents.
For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14
